Psalm 23 for fundraisers

The donor is my shepherd, if I service Him I shall not want. He makes me dream of budgets achieved. He leads me beside his ‘high net worth individual’ mates. He restores my faith in altruism. He guides me on the righteous path of effective donor development. Yea, though I walk through the valley of seeking a bequest, I will fear no rejection; for philanthropos art with me; Thy tax deduction and thy selfless giving motivation, they comfort me. Thou preparest a complete fundraising strategic plan before me in the presence of mine fully-committed Board of Directors; Thou hast anointed my asking ability with passion, mission and vision; My annual budget runneth over. Surely major gifts and large bequests shall follow me all the days of my career; And I shall dwell in the house of the Fellows of the Fundraising Institute. forever.
